Departure passengers with a last minute need to exchange their Euros into another currency will find Currency Exchange counters on the second floors and the Check-in areas as well as on Floor 1 and by Boarding Gate B at Terminal 1. These service counters remain open from early in the morning to late at night.

Getting to Milan’s northern-most airport is easy! Milan Malpensa Airport departures have excellent access to the airport by road as well as by rail. Malpensa Express trains link Milan’s Cadorna train station, which is located in the heart of the city, with Terminal 1. There are a total of 44 daily trains, coming and going at 30 minute intervals around the clock, ensuring no passenger is ever left stranded in the city. Milan Malpensa Airport departures can also join various coach services, which leave from outside Milan Central train station and cover both Terminal 1 and 2. The bus journey from the city center to the airport takes only 20 minutes and tickets can be purchased from the driver when boarding the coach.

Passengers with a rental car to return at the end of their holiday should ensure their car hire provider explains well in advance where their vehicles should be returned to. Milan Malpensa boasts well known providers such as Auto Europa, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, LOCAUTO Rent, Maggiore, Sixt and Thrifty, who have their car rental desks at Terminal 1 in the Arrivals hall. From tourist information to flight times, here passengers can find out what, where and when things happen at the airport! Business passengers will also find rooms for meetings and conferences with multimedia facilities at the Infocentre.

All passengers have Wi-Fi access in the Arrivals lounges, in the Check-in areas, their Boarding Lounges as well as in the restaurants and bars located at both terminals. In addition, there is a First Aid Station, a pharmacy and a chapel for all passengers’ use.
