Buses to and from Milan Linate Airport (LIN)

At Linate Airport the Autostradale ticket office is located on the ground level in Arrivals and in the Baggage Reclaim area. Tickets cost 8.00 euros and 10.00 euros for adults (one-way) and 4.00 euros to 5.00 euros for children aged 2 to 12.

Airport Express Routes Linate Airport to/from Milan

Airport express shuttle services leave from bus stops facing the single terminal building at Linate Airport. The Shuttles take 25 minutes to arrive at Milano Centrale train station. There are several different routes into the city. Here is a small selection:

Route 1: ATM Bus Line 73 Milan (Duomo) to Linate Airport

From Mondays to Fridays ATM Line 73 airport buses leave from the city's main square, Piazza Duomo, at 05.03, 05.23, 05.43, 06.00, 06.08, 06.15, 06.21, 06.33, 06.39, 0645, 06.51 and 06.56. Thereafter, ATM bus line 73 runs at 07.08, 07.20, 07.32, 07.44 and 07.55, then again at 08.07, 08.24 and 08.49 and roughly the same hours until 23.01, 23.16, and 23.31. The last ATM Line 73 bus leaves Milano Centrale at 23.46.

On Saturdays, Bus Line 73 leaves Milano Centrale at 05.03, 05.23, 05.43, 06.00, 06.10, 06.20, 06.30, 06.41, 06.51, 07.11, 07.38, 08.05 and 08.31 and similar timings throughout the day, until 23.01, 23.16 and 23.31. The final ATM line 73 bus of the day goes to the airport at 23.46.

Route 2: Bus Line 73 Linate Airport to Milan (Duomo)

From Mondays to Fridays Line 73 buses run from Linate Airport to central Milan at 05.30 and 05.30, 06.10, 06.21, 06.31, 06.46 and 06.56, then again at 07.10, 08.01, 08.13, 08.26, 08.39 and 08.51. ATM Line 73 runs at similar times during the day, until 23.14, 23.44 and 23.59.

On Saturdays ATM bus Line 73 leaves Linate Airport at 05.30, 05.50, 06.00, 06.10, 06.20, 06.30, 06.48, 06.56, 07.13, 07.31, 07.48, 07.57, 08.15, 08.24, 08.42 and 08.51, then at similar intervals until 23.00, 23.15, 23.145 and 23.59. 

Route 3: Linate Airport – Dateo – Milano Centrale Train Station

Airport Bus Express operates between Milano Piazza Luigi di Savola, Sazione Centrale FS and Linate. The journey takes just 25 minutes.

Buses leave Linate Airport at 06.30, 07.00, 07.30 and the same times  until 23.30. It takes 15 minutes to reach Dateo and another 10 minutes to arrive at Milano Centrale Stazione FS.

Route 4: Milan Central Train Station – Dateo- Linate Airport

Buses leave  at 06.00, 06.15, 06.45 and the same times  until  23.00. Buses arrive at Milano Piazzale Dateo ten minutes later and 15 minutes later at Milan Linate Airport. Route 5: Milano Centrale Stazione FS – Lambrate – Linate Airport

This airport shuttle also takes just 25 minutes for the trip between Milan's central train station and the airport at Linate. 

Buses leave at 05.30 to arrive ten minutes later at Lambrate, then at the airport at 05.55. The following services leave at 07.00, 08.00, 08.30, 09.00 and then at the same times until 22.00, arriving at Linate Airport at 22.55 hours.

Route 6: Milan Linate Airport – Lambrate – Milano Centrale Stazione FS

autostradale buses leave Linate Airport at 07.45, arriving at 08.10, then again at 08.15, arriving 08.40, then at the same times until 21.15. After that time, only two services leave the airport for Milan Centrale train station, one at 21.55 and the other at 22.45 hours, the latter bus arriving at Milan Centrale at 23.10 hours.

Route 7: Linate Airport to Rho Fiera Exhibition Ground

Services only operate  during trade fair weeks, taking 45 minutes to arrive. Buses leave Linate Airport's terminal at 08.45, 09.30, 10.30, 11.30 and 30 minutes past every hour until 13.30. Then buses leave on the hour until 18.00. It is the last service of the day, arriving at the fair ground at 18.45.

Route 8: Rho Fiera Exhibition Ground to Linate Airport

Buses leave at 09.30, 10.30, 11.30 and 12.30, then at 14.00 and on the hour until 19.00. This last bus arrives back at the airport at 19.45.

Other Bus Services from Milan Linate Airport:

Flixbus, www.flixbus.com, runs services to Florence, Monza, Malpensa Airport, Perugia and Pavia. A single ticket to Florence for example starts from just 13.00 euros per person (single ticket) and a single ticket to Perugia starts at 22.00 euros per person.

Airshuttle Nord (info@airshuttlenord.com, tel +39 030 258 2388, fax +39 030 250 2388) leaves Linate Airport for Brescia at regular intervals, and include Malpensa's terminals in their schedule as well as Oiro al Serio and Verona.
